MaeSue.com respects the privacy of all users of its site and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially.

The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 07/06/2018, with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions is canceled. We do not share your information

By default, we do not share personally identifiable or private customer information with third parties unless they act as an intermediary. We will not sell your personal details to third parties, but will only make them available to third parties that are involved in the processing of your order (for example Colissimo). We think it's very important to protect your confidential data.

When you buy something on MaeSue.com, we ask for some personal information (such as name, address and e-mail address) as part of the purchase and sales process. We can also send you e-mails about our webshop, new products or other updates. You agree to collect information each time you complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, request a delivery, or return a purchase.

About the data processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where we save it, what security techniques we use and for whom the personal data on our behalf do not use your data for your own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. Mae Sue has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Mae Sue is obliged to maintain secrecy on the grounds of the agreement.

E-mail and mailing lists

We send our e-mail newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and e-mail address for your own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail sent automatically via our website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. You will no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that make it clear whether e-mails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data for the further improvement of the services and to share information with third parties.

We use the services of Siteground for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Siteground has no access to our mailbox and we handle all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

We use the Stripe platform to handle a payment in our webshop. Stripe processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Stripe has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Stripe reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties. In the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), Stripe will share personal information and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All the above-mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Stripe's services for which they engage third parties. Stripe does not store your data for longer than allowed by the legal deadlines.

Shipping and logistics

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of Sendcloud and La Poste to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with Sendcloud and La Poste. Sendcloud and La Poste use this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In case Sendcloud and La Poste enable subcontractors, Sendcloud and La Poste also make your data available to these parties.

We don't share you personal data

As a standard practice we do not share any personally-identifiable or private customer information with third parties, unless they are acting as an intermediary.When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we ask for some personal information (i.e. name, address and email address.) We may send you emails about our store, new products or other updates. You are consenting to the collection of information every time you to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase.

Cookies

Along with most online fashion brands, we use cookies on our website. Essentially cookies are tracking technology which is non-personally identifiable - we therefore cannot identify who you are from our use of cookies.  Cookies let us track visitor activity on our website. For example, they may provide the type of browser software and operating system you use, the name of your internet service provider, the length of time you spend on our website, any referral website links, and other similar traffic-related information. This information helps us improve our website and the services we provide through our website, to continually improve your online experience with us.

Cookies from third parties

We will not sell your personal details to third parties, but will only make them available to third parties that are involved in processing your order (for example, La Poste). We are committed to respecting the confidentiality of your data.
